Spread The Sign - Language App Reviews

This is my favorite app on my phone. I am an ASL student so, this app is so great to keep me caught up and to learn new things everyday. I love how it doesnt just give you words but it also gives you sentences and in ASL order. Its so great. Get it!

This app is great since you can search for exactly the word or phrase youre looking for and can then watch it as many times as needed in any language until youve memorized it! Hands down the best sign language app i have!

Ive seen apps that depend too heavily on in-app purchases, but this one is the first Ive seen that doesnt have ANY features unless you pay. Yet its offered for "free" in the App Store. The developers would be better off just charging for the app and not deceiving people and wasting their time. Ive deleted this app and wont use it again.

I really like this app and it is really helpful. It has so many words, numbers and phrases that you can look up without having to buy them. The only complaint I would have is that you can only use the dictionary category the other categories require that you buy them.

This is one of the best apps Ive used in forever, only one problem... It needs to be fixed! Whenever I try to go back from just seeing a sign, it freezes up and "lags" my phone. I have to double click and remove it from the background apps just to get it to work again. Also- in the "background," it says "Spread The Sign copy" why does it say "copy?" It does this on my old iPhone 5s and my new iPhone 6s. And no- I have not t stored my 6s from the backup of my 5s so it is not because of that. But like I said- great app!

The Get version of this app has good content if you can figure out how to use it. To see any of it, you must do the following: 1. Choose a language such as "American English" 2. Type in a letter or a word. For example, type the letter a and you will see a list of all the words that start with a. I doubt sone people will figure this out easily since many other language apps show you an alphabet rather than making you type in a letter of the alphabet to see all the words for that letter. Be aware that the app requires an Internet connection. You cannot download a dictionary to your device. That means there are a number of places on the planet where this app is not practical. I would be willing to pay for more content if the app didnt freeze so easily and sometimes crash. Specifically, the app freezes and cannot be used once a sign language video has played more than one time. Be aware that there is no way to control the playing of a video such as pause and play. (iOS 9, iPhone 6) I am skeptical that the developer will provide fixes because there has been no update to the app since 2014. If the developer does make updates, I would like to see the users primary language matched with the sign language the user is learning. For example, English text in the list with Romanian as the sign language. --

Every Time i watch a video then stops but when it replays it lags so bad for few times then freezes it needs to be fixed asap i paid for the premium features and i ask it to be fixed ASAP

Im a college student in level 1 ASL and this app has been great. Im so happy it exists.
